The Animal Kingdom was the fourth park to open at Walt Disney World. It opened its gates on April 22, 1998. It is the largest of all the WDW parks at 500 acres. It is divided into 7 areas. They are the Oasis; the center of the park and home to the parks icon, the tree of life; Discovery Island, Camp Minnie-Mickey, Africa, Rifiki's Planet Watch, Aisa, and Dinoland USA. The Kilimanjaro Safari, a ride in the Africa section takes up over 100 acres of the park. The links below are to a video overview of the Animal Kingdom park and a map of Animal Kingdom. The last link is to a song that is played while on the Safari ride. I have also put a link to the words of the song. The really neat thing about it is the song is the Lords prayer in Swahili.
