Disney Studios

Disney Studios was the third park to open at Walt Disney World. It is a tribute to hollywood magic. The park opened on May 1, 1989. It is 135 acres in size and is divided into 6 themed areas. They are Hollywod Boulevard, Echo Lake, Streets of America, Animation Courtyard, Pixar Place, and Sunset Boulevard. The park is a collection of shows, rides and exhibts that highlight many of the great things about hollywood. It is also host to several annual events one of which is Star Wars Weekends which is hosted in June. It brings all the Star Wars characters out for photo shoots, special interactive activities, parades, and of course always actual stars from the movie.
